ICT Club Members Of Bethany St John's E.H.S.S Kunnamkulam

The main purpose of ICT in Education means implementing of ICT Equipments and Tools in Teaching-Learning process as a media and methodology. The purpose of ICT in education is generally to familiarise students with the use and workings of computers, and related social and ethical issues.

ICT has also enabled learning through multiple intelligence as ICT has introduced learning through simulation games; this enables active learning through all senses.

The Information & Communication Technology( ICT) Club of Bethany St John’s English Higher Secondary School Kunnamkulam is creating innovations in the field of educational technologies.The club members are maintaining about 12 blogs and a main School Blog with the active support of our ICT Teachers as well as school. Each blog deals with a particular subject with an aim of utilizing the possibilities of Information and Communication Technology in the educational setup. Our Supreme Vision is to utilize the modern technologies for the welfare of the students as well as society. Blogging really enhanced the creativity & Credibility of the students as they can directly express their ideas and thoughts freely and easily. ICT Club boosted their skill to explore and empower through the mode of grasping knowledge. It also offers support for the grooming poets, Writers. Artists etc.. of the school by publishing their creations and provides the attention of outside world. Various school activities and achievements are also brought in to the attention of the out side world through active blogging. Currently there are blogs which deals with the subjects :- Malayalam, English, Hindi, ICT ,Physics ,Chemistry ,Social Science, Biology, Mathematics, Arts, Short Stories, General Knowledge.There are also effective coaching under the ICT Teacher about various Tasks related to Computer Hardware & Software such as Installation, Networking, Assembling..........
